CASE STUDY · ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION

Center of Excellence

Corporate Services at Lowe's had no baselines, no research infrastructure, and 60+ Product Managers making product decisions without user data. I shipped product across three verticals, watched validated research get overridden because nobody with authority was accountable to the data, and diagnosed the structural problem. Then I built the measurement, governance, and enablement systems that fixed it. Within two quarters, the teams that had blocked research were submitting requests through the system I built, adjacent orgs were asking to adopt the model, and the VP town hall named it as the org-wide standard for product quality.

DIAGNOSIS

The problem was structural

Corporate Services at Lowe's runs a portfolio of internal products serving thousands of employees across Finance, Enterprise Cost, Legal, and HR. When I joined in 2022, no product in the portfolio had been validated with users, no measurement tracked whether shipped products actually worked, and 60+ Product Managers were making product decisions without data.
